I am always looking for a tool to put in my tool box which will help me fully support my patients and allow them to heal. I believe that everyone has the capacity to lead a joyful life! 

I realized during my career that traditional talk therapy was not conducive to my patient's full healing and I became frustrated with the fact that they were still having debilitating symptoms. Along the way I started to train in, and utilize, alternative treatments with my clientele. These modalities included meditation, breath work, yoga and joyfulness.

I now work with Reiki and other healing entities to support my patients, in combination with traditional psychotherapy. I use intuitive practices, sound healing, and connecting with a person's guide team to allow access to greater healing. I am a Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master. I am also a member of the Reiki Membership Association and The National Association of Social Workers, which provides me with a wealth of support as I work to combine eastern and western therapies. Additionally, I truly love that I am a member of the dynamic practitioner's team at Winding Willow Acupuncture & Wellness in Portland, OR.
